November 10, 2022 | V01 was traveling eastbound on County Road 181 approaching State Road 81. V02 was traveling northbound on State Road 81 approaching County Road 181. V01 traveled into the intersection of County Road 181 and State Road 81 violating V02's right of way. The front of V02 collided with the passenger side of V01. V02 continued northbound coming to a controlled stop on its passenger side on the East shoulder of State Road 81. V01 continued eastbound coming to a controlled stop on the North shoulder of County Road 181. The suspected driver of V01 fled after being transported a hospital in Bonifay. November 6, 2022 | Pedestrian 1 was walking in an easterly direction, in an unlit area of Holmes Valley Road, in what appears to be the middle of the roadway, with dark clothing on. Vehicle 1 (Unknown) was traveling east on Holmes Valley Road and just after the intersection of Twin Ponds Road, the front of Vehicle 1 collided with the pedestrian. Vehicle 1 drove away from the scene, leaving the pedestrian in the roadway. October 19, 2022 | Two bicyclists were traveling westbound on State Road 292 (Sorrento Road) near the edge of the roadway when a Toyota Highlander also traveling westbound on State Road 292 (Sorrento Road) struck the bicyclists. The Toyota Highlander then fled the scene of the crash. One bicyclist was pronounced deceased on scene, and one bicyclist was transported to Baptist Hospital. The Toyota Highlander was located in Lillian, Alabama. October 3, 2022 | Vehicle #1 (V01) was traveling in the outside northbound lane on N. Pace Blvd, just north of St. Mary Ave. Non-Motorist #1 (NM01) was walking northbound on the sidewalk, on the east shoulder of N. Pace Blvd. NM01 then entered the outside northbound lane of N. Pace Blvd as V01 was approaching. V01 continued until its right front corner collided with NM01. NM01 was projected in a northeasterly direction, coming to final rest on the sidewalk, on the east shoulder of N. Pace Blvd. NM01 was pronounced deceased on scene. V01 fled the scene, continuing northbound on N. October 2, 2022 | Vehicle #1 (V01) was traveling in the northbound lane on State Road 727 (W Fairfield Drive), just north of Hestia Place. Non-Motorist #1 (NM01) was walking northbound on the east shoulder of State Road 727. V01 veered to the right, traveling onto the east shoulder of State Road 727. V01 continued until its right front corner collided with NM01. NM01 was projected in a northeasterly direction, coming to final rest on the east, grass shoulder of State Road 727. V01 fled the scene. NM01 was pronounced deceased on scene. |
September 26, 2022 | On 9/26/2022 at approximately 9:40 PM a red Ford Focus (Vehicle 1) turned left from Oakleaf Drive onto Hamilton Bridge Road, driving directly in the path of an oncoming motorcycle (Vehicle 2). The motorcycle was being operated by a white male, 29 years old. The rider of the motorcycle was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Ford Focus fled the scene on foot. Witnesses described the driver as a white male approximately 6-foot-tall, large build with blondish hair. November 9, 2020 | A Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the outside eastbound lane of Interstate 10. The motorcycle continued eastbound and the driver lost control. As the motorcycle slid on its right side in a northeast direction, the driver became unseated from the motorcycle. The motorcycle traveled in an easterly direction before coming to final rest in the outside eastbound lane of Interstate 10. As the driver of the motorcycle was lying in the outside lane, an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound in the outside lane of Interstate 10 struck the driver of the motorcycle. After being struck, the driver of the motorcycle traveled in an easterly direction and came to final rest, straddling both the inside and outside lanes of eastbound Interstate 10. The unknown vehicle fled the scene and continued traveling east on Interstate 10. In the area of the crash, there was a lane closure on the first of the two bridges. Work was being conducted within the outside lane and the scope of the work consisted with applying a sealer on the roadway. This lane closure was opened back up approximately 2:30 A.M. on the morning of the crash. The unknown vehicle is possibly a four-door Hyundai Elantra. October 20, 2020 | A bicyclist was traveling in the outside westbound travel lane of U.S. Highway 98. An unknown vehicle was traveling westbound in the outside travel lane of U.S. Highway 98. The front of the unknown vehicle struck the bicyclist in the outside westbound travel lane. The unknown vehicle fled the scene and remains unidentified. August 21, 2020 | An unknown vehicle was traveling southbound in the outside lane on SR 295 (New Warrington Road), south of Fairfield Drive. The pedestrian was in the roadway located in the southbound outside lane on New Warrington Road, south of Fairfield Drive. The driver of the unknown vehicle failed to see the pedestrian in the roadway. Subsequently the unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian. The unknown vehicle fled the scene and remains unidentified. August 6, 2020 | An unknown vehicle was traveling south in the outside southbound lane of County Road 453, approaching Hardy Place. The pedestrian was walking in an easterly direction crossing County Road 453. The pedestrian walked into the path of travel of the unknown vehicle. The front of the unknown vehicle struck the right side of the pedestrian. P-1 landed onto the hood, rolling off of the right side of the unknown vehicle. The right front wheel struck the raised curb before traveling southbound away from the scene. Vehicle parts and paint chips located on scene indicated that the vehicle that hit the pedestrian was possibly a blue vehicle. March 1, 2020 | An unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound on State Road 290A (West Jackson Street). The pedestrian was traveling in an unknown direction, possibly in the eastbound lane of State Road 290A, or on the south shoulder. The unknown vehicle collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian came to final rest on the south shoulder of State Road 290A. The unknown vehicle fled the scene. The unknown vehicle is possibly a pickup truck or an SUV. March 10, 2019 | An unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound on State Road 22. A Taoi moped was traveling eastbound on State Road 22. The front of the unidentified vehicle collided with the rear of the Taoi moped. The collision caused the driver of the moped to become unseated from the vehicle and projected into the eastbound travel lane of State Road 22. The Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling eastbound on State Road 22 and collided with the driver of the moped. February 6, 2019 | An unknown vehicle was traveling northbound on Tarpon Street. The pedestrian was standing in the northbound lane of Tarpon Street. The unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. The pedestrian came to final rest face down, facing in a westerly direction in the center of Tarpon Street. October 11, 2018 | An unknown vehicle was traveling in the outside southbound lane on U.S. Hwy 29. The pedestrian was crossing the southbound lanes of US Hwy 29, from west to east. The pedestrian entered into the outside southbound lane and was struck by the unknown vehicle. The unknown vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian was projected into the outside southbound lane of US Hwy 29 and began to tumble in a southeasterly direction coming to final rest in the inside southbound lane of US Hwy 29. The Dodge Ram and the Ford Fusion were traveling in the outside southbound lane and struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian came to final rest straddling the center left turn lane and the inside southbound lane of US Hwy 29. September 14, 2018 | A bicyclist was traveling eastbound on the eastbound sidewalk of State Road 296 (Michigan Ave). The bicyclist attempted to cross the roadway, traveling from the eastbound sidewalk, and into the outside eastbound lane of State Road 296. As the bicyclist entered the outside eastbound lane the front passenger side corner of the unknown vehicle collided with the rear of the bicycle. May 10, 2018 | An unknown vehicle was traveling northbound in the inside northbound lane of US Hwy 331. The pedestrian was originally traveling northbound on the right side of the northbound inside lane of US Hwy 331. The pedestrian became unseated from the bicycle and landed in the inside northbound lane of US Hwy 331. A witness traveling behind the unknown vehicle observed the pedestrian lying in the roadway next to his bicycle when the right side wheels of the unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian. The unknown vehicle, after striking the pedestrian continued traveling northbound on US Hwy 331. The pedestrian, after being struck came to final rest in the inside northbound lane of US Hwy 331. July 7, 2017 | V-1 was traveling southbound on State Road 291 (North Davis Highway) approaching the intersection at Brewster Street in the outside lane. Pedestrian-1 was walking from the west shoulder to the center lane then walked back to the outside lane where Pedestrian-1 laid down on their right side. Pedestrian-1 was in the roadway improperly. January 30, 2017 | Vehicle was traveling westbound on US-98. Pedestrian was traveling westbound on the shoulder of US-98. The vehicle drove onto the shoulder of US-98 and collided with the pedestrian. The vehicle fled the scene and is currently unknown. The only information is that it is a possible Ford pickup truck. If anyone has any information of this crash, please contact 850-484-5000. UPDATE: The hit-and-run vehicle is a possible 2003 Ford F350 unknown color. |
