How to Establish a New Specialty License Plate

Florida legislation must be enacted to establish a new specialty license plate per section 320.0853, Florida Statutes. The department’s Creation of A Specialty License Plate Procedure RS-20 contains the requirements that an organization must follow after legislation has been approved for specialty plates.
