Press Instructions and Logistics for Trooper Tracy Vickers Memorial Events

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol honors the life and career of Trooper Tracy Vickers.

Public Viewing: Wednesday, October 2, 2019, visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

First Baptist Church of Orlando (Henry Chapel)

3000 South John Young Parkway

Orlando, FL 32805

Media attending the public viewing, please arrive after 5:00 p.m. out of respect for the family. See the highlighted area of the attached map for media parking. The media pool staging area will be on the south side between Henry Chapel and the Main Sanctuary at the First Baptist Church of Orlando.

No media will be allowed inside Henry Chapel before or during the viewing. There are no accommodations for live feeds from within the Chapel for the viewing.

Memorial ServiceThursday, October 3, 2019, ceremony to start at 10:00 a.m. sharp. (Media should arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.)

Media attending the Memorial Service please see the highlighted area of the linked map for media parking. The media pool staging area will be on the south side between Henry Chapel and the Main Sanctuary at the First Baptist Church of Orlando. No media will be allowed inside the Main Sanctuary before or during the service.

Accommodations for live feeds for the service will be available on the south side between Henry Chapel and the Main Sanctuary.

Conclusion of service: There will be a law enforcement procession from First Baptist Church of Orlando to Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734 for interment. No media will be permitted during the interment ceremony out of respect for the family.

Procession: At approximately 11:00 a.m., a law enforcement procession will proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.

WB State Road 408 to SB Good Homes Road

SB Good Homes Road to Woodlawn Cemetery Road
