The Florida Legislature enacted requirements (Section 322.091,
F.S.) that students who attain the age of 14 and accumulate
15 unexcused absences in a period of 90 calendar days be
ineligible to receive or maintain driving privileges.
The Department of Education has issued a document which
includes frequently asked questions and a reinstatement
form. For your convenience these items are available below.
