FHP remembers James B. Crooks, who died in the line of duty on May 19, 1998. Trooper Crooks died in the line of duty as a result of a gunshot. At the time of his death, Trooper Crooks was 23 years old and had served with the Florida Highway Patrol for 9 months. #FHP
