Speed Stop Reveals More
Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Eddie Elmore recently stopped a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am for unlawful speed on Interstate 10. During a search of the vehicle a portable methamphetamine lab was discovered, along with methamphetamine chemicals (already mixed) and finished processed methamphetamines. Also various other paraphernalia were found.
Both the driver and passenger were arrested on numerous drug related charges, including trafficking in methamphetamines and possession of methamphetamines and booked into the Holmes County jail. Trooper Elmore was assisted by other FHP officers and members of the Fl. Dept. of Transportation’s Motor Carrier Compliance Narcotics Interdiction Team.
