Investigators Recognized for Outstanding Performances

Corporal Gensler, Sergeant Blackwell, Corporal Dewitt, and Corporal RiberdyIn July, 2009, Captain Steve Harris recognized members of the Troop D – Orlando, Traffic Homicide Investigation Squad for their outstanding efforts.

Corporal Gensler was recognized for his efforts in two separate cases where his hard work resulted in the convictions and sentencing of those responsible to a combination of 115 years.

Sergeant Blackwell was recognized for his oversight and management of the Traffic Homicide Program.

Corporal Dewitt was recognized for his overall performance for 2009. Corporal Dewitt was assigned seventeen investigation and closed thirteen, took the most traffic law enforcement actions, and also assisted the Troop by being an instructor and TRT member.

Corporal Riberdy was recognized for her successful investigation and conviction of those responsible in the first known “Huffing” case in the state. Thank you and keep up the good work.
