FHP Pilot’s Son Earns His Wings

Marine Lt. Mallow and FHP Lt. MallowUnited States Marine Corps 1st Lt. Joshua Caleb Mallow graduated from flight school on Apr. 16 in Corpus Christi, TX earning his Naval Aviator wings.

Joshua is the son of Troop H pilot Lt. Thomas and Cheryl Mallow of Crawfordville. Joshua is a 2003 graduate of Wakulla High School and a 2007 graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Upon completing college he attended The Basic School in Quantico, VA, where all Marine Corps Officers are trained in a variety of subjects such as weapon proficiency, modern warfare tactics and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

After completing the 6-month school he attended primary flight school in Milton, FL, then proceeded to advance flight school in Corpus Christi, TX. He now has orders to Cherry Point, NC, where he will receive further flight training to fly the KC-130J Super Hercules.
