FHP Auxiliary Basic Recruit Class Graduates

Lt. Colonel Duarte prepares to swear in the new Auxiliary TroopersOn April 24, 2010, a graduation ceremony was held in Bradenton for our most recent Auxiliary Basic Recruit Class. Their training began on April 25, 2009, and concluded on March 13, 2010, with 330 hours of instruction.

This new curriculum is built around the basic recruit training all State Troopers receive at the FHP Academy in Tallahassee. Special emphasis was placed on high liability areas such as firearms, pursuit driving, first responder and defensive tactics.

Congratulations go to our newest Auxiliary Troopers: Ron Buckley, Joe Filice, Chris Gologanoff, Richard Lisenbee, Davis Pollard and Michael Sullivan.
