The week-end event allows Boy Scouts to participate in different classes and programs to earn credits toward merit badges. Over 1600 Boy Scout participated in the two day college. Lt. Maldonado instructed several groups in Crime Prevention and demonstrated some of the equipment used to fight and prevent crime.

The Scouts enjoyed the session and the Florida Highway Patrol was happy to assist these young men in earning credit toward a coveted merit badge, and educating them in crime prevention.
