FHP Joins Travel Expo to Promote Safety

The event featured one of FHP’s popular Seat Belt Convincers, DUI goggles that simulate drunk driving, and a variety of safety information made available to teen drivers.

Over 300 individuals wore the DUI goggles to learn what it feels like to be under the influence and try to pass a sobriety test or perform tasks.

NBC 6 traffic Reporter Roxanne Vargas rode the seat belt convincer herself during the morning newscast and then spoke about the importance of wearing seat belts during an interview with meteorologist Jennifer Gray.
