Two Auxiliary Legends Retire

FHPA Lt. Colonel Nick GigliottiFHPA Lt. Colonel BarleyTwo Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary (FHPA) members with combined service of nearly 80 years have recently retired. Nick Gigliotti (left) and Norman Barley (right) are both pillars to the FHPA. Both have been a tremendous help to the troopers they have ridden with throughout the years, showing amazing voluntary spirit that has served as an inspiration to the Florida Highway Patrol and its Auxiliary members. The fact that these legends never asked for anything in return, but continued to give their time and energy for others, is what keeps our FHP family closer together.

Both men were recently recognized for their distinguished service and presented with their retirement credentials as FHPA Lieutenant Colonels. FHP sincerely thanks them for all they have done to give back to the people of Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol is deeply appreciative of their years of service and their spirit of giving.
