Ocala Trooper Given Eagle Eye

Trooper Dobosiewicz is presented with his award.L to R: Ocala District Commander Captain LaMont, Trooper Dobosiewicz, Sergeant Sapp, and Troop B Commander Major Carpenter. Trooper Anthony Dobosiewicz was presented with the Eagle Eye Award by Sheriff Ed Dean of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

This award was presented to Trooper Dobosiewicz for being “keenly observant and always vigilant” during a traffic stop he conducted in his neighborhood at approximately on August 2, 2008. This traffic stop was conducted on the driver of a suspicious vehicle, which helped Marion County Sheriff Investigators quickly solve nine burglary investigations. Sheriff Dean stated that the actions of Trooper Dobosiewicz may solve numerous other open investigations in Marion County.
