DOS Dan Graves began his career with the Florida Highway Patrol at the Ocala FHP station on March 22, 1977. He transferred to the Gainesville FHP station in July 1978, was promoted to supervisor in 1995, and remained there until the FHP consolidated their communications centers and moved him to Jacksonville in August 2001.

Dan has served the citizens of Florida and those FHP troopers he has had the pleasure to work with for many years and has helped move the FHP into the modern technology era. Many changes and challenges have taken place over the past 31 years and Dan will truly miss those co-workers he has worked with as well as the daily activities that take place that allowed him to assist the motoring public in need of law enforcement assistance. His knowledge and experience will be sorely missed by those he worked with.

All of Dan’s co-workers wish him and his wife Anita all the best in their retirement years. Dan and Anita are looking forward to residing in Levy County to enjoy retirement.
