Lo-Jack Beeps Lead to Multiple Arrests
A recent series of Lo-Jack beeps prompted Land-O-Lakes Trooper Ronald Evans to investigate a residence in Pasco County where he uncovered a stolen motorcycle. With the suspect under arrest, Trooper Evans was able to recover a second stolen motorcycle that was with the original Lo-Jack hit! Not wanting to go to jail alone, the suspect in custody led Trooper Evans to another stolen motorcycle nearby, yielding another suspect. Not wanting to be out done by the first suspect’s admission, the second suspect told Trooper Evans of another motorcycle theft, which led to two more stolen motorcycles and the arrest of yet another suspect!
5 stolen motorcycles recovered = $55,000
3 criminals off Florida’s streets = Priceless
