FHPA Swearing In Ceremony

Major David L. McCarter swears in Trooper MooreTrooper Moore has his badge “pinned” by his wife, RonelleAfter completing nearly 200 hours of training, Dennis Moore was sworn in as a member of the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary. Some of his Training included firearms qualification, driving, first responder, defensive tactics and State Law.

The Auxiliary is comprised of an all volunteer unit that provides direct assistance and operational support to the Patrol. Some of their activities include providing second officer back-up, security at special events, aiding stranded motorists and providing aid at natural disasters.

Auxiliary Captain John J. Prescott, sons – Andrew, Adam, Trooper Moore, wife- Ronelle and Major McCarterAfter 14 months of training in his spare time, Trooper Moore is looking forward to getting started.
