DHSMV Promotes Motorcycle Safety
The Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles has its Driver License staff and Highway Patrol Troopers work together to learn how to better conduct motorcycle training necessary for endorsement verification and motorcycle equipment safety checks.
Trooper Daryl Pechin (Troop G) lent his services to show DL examiners the proper way to travel through the driver license motorcycle course at the Wilson Blvd. Driver License Office in Jacksonville.
Further, the DL examiners learned how to conduct a safety check on the motorcycles as well as put the motorcycle operators through the course they must complete prior to obtaining a motorcycle endorsement on their Florida Driver license. By working together, our agency continues to make our state a “Safer Florida!”
