FHP Joins the Jingle Bell Run

FHP Academy Staff and recruits from the 115th Class race down Monroe Street wearing tropical attire and jingle bells for Tallahassee's annual Festival of Lights Jingle Bell Run. The Florida Highway Patrol Academy staff and members of the 115th Recruit Class participated in the annual Jingle Bell Run that kicks off the Festival of Lights celebration in Tallahassee every year.

The recruits and staff are always ready to run and have a little fun while representing FHP in outstanding fashion–this time, donning leis, along with the traditional jingle bells. Recruits look forward to this event each year and always receive a rousing ovation from the crowd lined up along the street for the annual parade.

Group shot of participants in Jingle Bell RunThe race is 3 kilometers long, and everyone is invited to participate from grandparent to grandbaby, even the family pet, and, of course, our own FHP Academy staff and recruits.
