FHP Hosts Career Fair

Trooper Williams welcomes new trooper applicants.Sergeant Roufa shows the applicants the FHP Academy video.Earlier this month, FHP Recruiters Trooper Sevine Williams and Trooper Charlie Harris hosted a Career Fair at the Davie Highway Patrol Station to showcase the career opportunities offered by our agency.

Major Tony Allen and Recruitment Coordinator Sergeant Tim Roufa spoke with potential recruits while Lieutenant Richard Vore displayed the Tactical Response Team equipment and Trooper Mary Jackson held a child seat safety check.

Lieutenant Vore speaks to the applicants about the Tactical Response Team and the equipment they use.The applicants talked to recruiters and watched a video about the training academy. Overall, recruiters were encouraged by the turnout of twenty applicants, and look forward to hosting similar events across the state in the near future.
