FHP Celebrates MLK

Trooper Menner, Trooper Lee, Congressman Kendrick Meek, Sgt. Wysocky, and Auxiliary Trooper Pollack attend MLK event in West Park.
FHP members of the Davie District participated in a Martin Luther King, Jr. event that included a parade and picnic held for residents and hosted by the city of West Park. The community event was the first of its kind for West Park after its recent designation as a new city.

Troopers Anthony Lee, Theodore Menner and Emmitt Paige drove patrol cars in the parade. Auxiliary Trooper Robert Pollack and Sergeant Mark Wysocky joined them at the picnic to distribute FHP coloring books and other traffic safety items to local children and other members of the community.

Local politicians and United States Congressman Kendrick Meek, a former Florida Highway Patrol trooper, attended the event and spoke to the West Park residents.
