The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, established within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and affiliated with the State University System, was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature to fulfill the need for innovative and multifaceted methods of educating and training our state’s criminal justice professionals.
The goal of this important Chief Executive Seminar is to prepare select members of Florida’s criminal justice leadership for the new demands and challenges of our state’s criminal justice needs. Major Trammell and his fellow classmates studied current trends in law enforcement and gained knowledge on the leadership skills that are crucial to meet the challenges Florida will face now and in the future.
