City of Hialeah Shows Appreciation to FHP
On January 24, the Mayor and City Council of Hialeah, Miami-Dade County’s second largest city, held a special award ceremony to express their appreciation for the efforts of the Florida Highway Patrol in helping their city recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Wilma. Troop E troopers spent countless hours distributing ice, water and MREs (meals-ready-to-eat) to residents in the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma.
