112th Recruit Class Ready for Graduation

The 112th graduating class“Divided we began, together now we stand.
We are the 112th, forever black and tan.”

On January 13, 2006, the 112th Basic Recruit Class reported to begin their training at the Florida Highway Patrol Training Academy. On June 2, 2006, the Certified Recruit Class joined the 112th. Certified recruit class members are law enforcement officers from other agencies who go through Agency Specified Training to become members of the Florida Highway Patrol.

The Basic and the Certified Recruits have now completed their training, and are eager to receive their diplomas and badges and take their Oath of Office at a graduation ceremony in Tallahassee on Thursday, July 27th. They have received their first assignments indicating where they will report for duty and complete their 10 weeks of field training before being released to solo patrol.

Congratulations to our newest members of the Florida Highway Patrol!
