Troopers Spread Cheer with Plush Toys

Rotary Club members recognized the need for troopers to have a means of softening necessary law enforcement presence during events such as crash investigations and traffic stops. And what better way to do that than to offer a soft little toy to the children involved.

Lt. Mike Burroughs accepted the generous donation of plush toys on behalf of Troop B. The stuffed animals were distributed to local troopers to keep in their patrol cars and use in situations where a stuffed animal could brighten the moment of contact between a trooper and a child during an otherwise stressful encounter.
