Troopers Ask Commuters to Drive-4-Life
The Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Department of Transportation, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office recently reached out to Tampa’s motoring public, asking them to Drive-4-Life on Interstate 4 in the Tampa Bay area.

As I-4 continues to increase in its daily volume of commuters, a rising trend in fatal crashes began to alarm the public and law enforcement alike.
The new campaign, which will saturate I-4 with a law enforcement presence and provide numerous public service announcements and driver education, is aimed at reducing traffic crashes and deaths on this highway.

The overall goal is that drivers will take what they learn from this safety campaign and carry it with them as they drive on other roads in Florida – making our highways safe statewide.
