Tow to Go for Super Bowl
The Florida Highway Patrol participated in a news conference at the Bud Bowl with representatives from Budweiser, AAA, and a local towing company to kick off the Tow To Go program for the Super Bowl XXXlX festivities.
This program, which is usually activated during peak holidays such as New Year’s Eve, allows individuals who have consumed too much alcohol to call AAA and get a free ride home and a free tow for their vehicle.
The Tow To Go program has proven to be highly effective in keeping drunk drivers off the roadways during major holidays in the past, and was a welcome community service made available for the Super Bowl held in Jacksonville.
