Lt. Weaver receives FHPA honor

State Representative Allen, Lt. Weaver, Col. Knight, & FHPA Col. SheaferThe Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary bestowed their highest honor on Troop C FHPA Coordinator Lt. Keely Weaver at the 2005 FHP Auxiliary Training Meeting in Orlando, FL. Lt. Weaver was awarded the “Trooper James H. Fulford Memorial Award” named in honor of Trooper James H. Fulford who was the FHPA Instructor of the Troop H Jefferson unit when he was killed in the line of duty on February 1, 1992.

Lt. Weaver has always gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to the award’s criteria; dedication, enthusiasm, and training provided to the FHPA. Members within Troop C’s three FHPA units unanimously agreed that Lt. Weaver not only demonstrates her continued support to the FHPA, but personally oversees their recruitment, applicant tracking, and required training providing guidance and friendship along the way.
