FHP Participates In Shoot for Safety

The second place team of the Northeast Florida Safety Council. The Florida Highway Patrol in Jacksonville recently participated in the Northeast Florida Safety Council’s annual “Shoot for Safety” fundraiser. This year’s theme was Together we can shoot down the safety problems facing our community.

The fundraiser was held at the Jacksonville Skeet and Trap Club. The shoot format included nine 5-person teams shooting two rounds of skeet and two rounds of trap. Captain Rick Kelley, Jacksonville North District Commander, represented FHP on the Safety Council’s team and brought home a second place trophy.
