The group departed from Duke Field AFB on an MC-130E Combat Talon I and arrived at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana to see the B-52 and A-10 missions. Afterward, the civic leaders learned about aircrew life support systems and watched the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit in action. Next stop on the tour was Keesler AFB in Mississippi, where the group learned about the unique Hurricane Hunters mission. The group had a safe return flight home, and came away with a deeper appreciation for our men and women in uniform.
