Troopers Earn Silver & Bronze at Olympics

Lieutenant DorasSergeant SmallOver 5,000 competitors from over 200 different Florida law enforcement and fire rescue agencies participated in the 2004 Florida Law Enforcement Olympic Games held this year on Florida’s Treasure Coast. Among the many FHP members who were present were Tampa Shift Commander Lt. Bruce Doras (left) and Pinellas Park district supervisor Sgt. John Small (right).

Lt. Doras won three silver medals in cycling competitions that were held in Indian River County from June 22nd – 24th. Sgt. Small earned a bronze medal in men’s tennis, which was held at the world famous Club Med in St. Lucie County. Both Lt. Doras and Sgt. Small have represented the FHP in the Florida Law Enforcement games in the past and once again have proved victorious! Troop C is proud of our winners!
