The Motorcycle Rodeo is a large fundraiser for these charities and is also the largest police motorcycle safety skills event held in the Southeastern United States. The Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) and Northwestern University Traffic Institute Certified Instructors monitored the course for instructional and safety purposes. The training courses were set up to enhance the daily riding skills of motorcycle officers. The courses were intricate and very demanding. Sgt. Thomason, Trooper Dobbs and Trooper Murphy brought home a Team Trophy and Trooper Murphy was presented a plaque for the “Most Improved Novice.” Congratulations to all!!
