Milledge Retires After 25 Years

Trooper MilledgeWhen asked to describe veteran Trooper Tony Milledge, Public Affairs Officer Doug Dodson said, “He was always a hard worker, very reliable. He was always on time and on the job–a model of consistency.”

Trooper Anthony “Tony” Milledge joined the Florida Highway Patrol in September 1979, graduating from the Academy in the 58th Recruit Class. He began his career as a trooper in Ft. Myers, moving back to Bradenton in 1982. After twenty-five years with FHP, Trooper Milledge says that he is looking forward to his retirement and to following his son, Lastings, professional baseball career.
