Gregory Graduates from 36th Chief Executive Seminar
Last week, Lt. Colonel Rick Gregory graduated, along with seventeen other law enforcement officials, from the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute’s 36th Chief Executive Seminar in Tallahassee.
The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, established within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and affiliated with the State University System, was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature to fulfill the need for innovative and multifaceted methods of educating and training our state’s criminal justice professionals. Since the Institute’s programs began 13 years ago, 733 executives representing numerous Florida criminal justice agencies have completed training offered by the Institute.
The goal of this important Chief Executive Seminar is to prepare select members of Florida’s criminal justice leadership for the new demands and challenges of our state’s criminal justice needs. Lt. Col. Gregory and his fellow classmates studied current trends in law enforcement and gained knowledge on the leadership skills that are crucial to meet the challenges Florida will face now and in the future.
