FHP Uses CPR to Save a Life
Recently, Lt. Lisa Hunter-Sellers, who was working at the rest area in Madison, was approached by a citizen who complained of having problems breathing. Knowing that the victim needed immediate assistance, Lt. Hunter-Sellers called an ambulance to respond to the scene. Trooper Harry Weaver and Sgt. Harland Drawdy, who were patrolling in the area, both responded to the scene. Shortly after their arrival, the victim suddenly stopped breathing. Lt. Hunter-Sellers and Sgt. Drawdy quickly began CPR, keeping the victim alive until EMS arrived. The victim was then transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for observation. Thanks to the efforts of these three FHP members, a life was saved!
