Recently, members of the Florida Highway Patrol and Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the National Law Enforcement Memorial Service conducted annually in memory of officers killed in the line of duty throughout the United States.

Trooper Scott Morse, Reserve Trooper Craig Morse, Auxiliary Trooper David Farrell, and Auxiliary Trooper Fred Herring, all assigned to Troop D, represented the Patrol during the event. The group was fortunate to meet and have pictures taken with several prominent politicians during their stay in Washington, as evidenced by the following photos.
