Southeastern Colonels Support Upcoming Mobilizations

The conference was hosted by the Alabama Highway Patrol and sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Dr. Jeff Runge signing the Southeastern Colonel’s proclamation.Chief Howes joined five of Colonel Knight’s counterparts and two other officers representing Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee to learn about important upcoming traffic safety programs, including the national “Click It or Ticket” campaign, scheduled to be conducted in Florida May 19 through June 1, 2003.

Roundtable discussions during the conference also gave each Colonel and other participants an opportunity to showcase new programs being implemented in their respective states.
