On April 22, 2003, the Florida Highway Patrol hosted training at the O.U.C. Stanton Energy Facility. The facility was used to simulate a mock attack. Over 100 officers from Central Florida law enforcement agencies participated in the daylong training. Scenarios were used to incorporate many dimensions into this event. At the completion of the training the task force deemed it a success. This mission will help Central Florida be prepared in case of a real attack.
