Hunter Honored at Local College

Sgt. Hunter & TCC President LawSergeant Lisa Hunter, Traffic Homicide Supervisor – Troop H, was honored during a recent ceremony at the Tallahassee Community College’s 2003 Women’s History Month Celebration.

Sgt. Hunter, an 18-year veteran of the Florida Highway Patrol, along with fifteen other notable and deserving women, was honored at the annual award ceremony, which showcases the selfless efforts of women whose achievements make them role models in the Tallahassee community.

Last year, Sgt. Hunter earned both an AA and an AS degree in Criminal Justice Technology from Tallahassee Community-all while working full time for FHP, and being a Team Mom for her children’s sports activities.
