FHP Recruits Join the 2003 “Jingle Bell Run”

Recruits running down the street.The Florida Highway Patrol Academy staff and the 46 members from the 105th and 106th Recruit Classes participated in the annual “Jingle Bell Run” that kicks off the Holiday Parade in Tallahassee every year.

Chief Sly Dawson, Captain George Crotta, Lieutenants Mark Welch, Bryan Hudson, and Randy Kosec, Sergeants Bill Martinez and Diane Branham, Corporal Jennifer Welch and Trooper Chuck Cook all represented the Florida Highway Patrol in outstanding “fashion” while running in this year’s event.

Recruit classes look forward to the event and always receive a rousing ovation from the crowd of over 100,000 citizens each year.
