A Very Merry Christmas

Trooper Sanchez, his daughter and wife, and members of the Davie District enjoy Christmas fellowship at annual gathering. The Davie District of Troop L was having their annual Christmas gathering when a surprise visitor stopped by. No, it was not Saint Nick! Special “Guest of Honor” for the event, Trooper Elias Sanchez, dropped in with his wife Jeanette, daughter Kimberly and son Brandon.

Trooper Sanchez was deployed to the Middle East six months prior to the invasion of Iraq, also known as, “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. While in Baghdad, he was injured in a gun battle and is now home on medical leave recovering from his wounds. He honors us with his service and dedication to duty and we are all glad he is home safe for the holidays.
