Troopers Receive DEA Award

C., Trooper Jimmy Davis and Trooper Jason Lemery, both of Troop C, received the “Administrator’s Award for Public Service,” presented by Asa Hutchinson, Administrator of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Drug Enforcement Administration. Shown in the above photo, left to right, are DEA Administrator Asa Hutchinson, Trooper Lemery, Trooper Davis, and DEA Deputy Administrator John Brown.

Davis, DEA Special Agent in Charge Randy Bohman, LemeryDavis and Lemery were recognized for their outstanding achievements in law enforcement and drug interdiction. During a four-year period, they have arrested 290 individuals for felony drug charges and seized huge quantities of drugs and currency.

Many of their arrests resulted in significant DEA investigations. Trooper Davis and Trooper Lemery exemplify the professionalism of law enforcement and are a credit to the Florida Highway Patrol and its Contraband Interdiction Program.
