Trooper Fulford Remembered
February 1, 2002, marked the 10-year anniversary of the death of beloved Trooper James H. Fulford, Jr.
Jimmy was killed instantly on February 1,1992 when a bomb that was concealed in a microwave oven exploded as he was taking inventory on a vehicle.
A special Memorial Service, coordinated by Retired Lieutenant Buddy Tinney and Retired Sergeant Ed James, was held at the site of Trooper Fulford’s death.
Colonel Chris Knight was on hand for the service where he met with Trooper Fulford’s family as well as many of Jimmy’s friends from the Madison Sub-District.
