Tallahassee - The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) announced the opening of a new driver license office in Lake County. The new driver license office is located at 2400 S. U.S. Highway 27, Building 4, Suite 4205 in Clermont and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The office was formerly located at 11107 West Colonial Drive, in Ocoee and closed March 29. Appointments for all offices can be made online at oasis.hsmv.state.fl.us. Customers are encouraged to skip the trip altogether and use online services at www.GoRenew.com.
