Grieved

It grieves my Spirit to hear of this tragic news of the death of this wonderful trooper. The spouses of all troopers feel this lost and sympathize with this wonderful family. It’s like an unspoken bond that’s shared. Know that we love you and we pray for your strength through this time of bereavement. Know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and be blessed.

Deepest condolences

I have followed Trooper Ambroise’s career since the very beginning via the FHP website. It saddens me to no avail that despite repeated “MOVE OVER” warnings and the sophisticated lighting system in the back of cruisers such a tragic incident occurred. No words can explain the depth of sympathy I have for Trooper Ambroise and all the Troopers that have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. As a member of the EMS system in Escambia county Florida and a full time active duty serviceman my heart goes out to the family of Trooper Ambroise and know that God has brought him home to rest. May God Bless all LEO’s who protect and serve selflessly.

Thank You for All You Did Trooper Ambroise

To Trooper Ambroise’s family and the FHP:

On behalf of my family, thank you so very much for sharing your loved one and colleague with us in South Florida even though it was only for a short time.

We understand and know how dangerous the job that Trooper Ambroise, his colleagues and all law enforcement officers do on a daily basis and the sacrifices they make to get the job done in keeping us safe and especially when it keeps them away from their families on the weekends, holidays and special occasions.

Our family truly appreciate Trooper Ambrose as a law enforcement officer, a husband and father and especially for the ultimate sacrifice he has made while taking care of us. A job well done.

Thank you so very much.

Condolence

I would like to take the time to let the family of trooper Ambroise and members of FHP that you are in my prayers. I have been in federal law enforcement for over seven years and it is situations like these that reminds us of the dangers of the nobel profession of law enforcement. Please know that you are fully supported by the law enforcement fraternity accross this great nation. There is a saying that I grew up hearing as a child in my native country of Jamaica that says “You give the most that you have in return for less”. As a law enforcement officer I finally realise the meaning of this saying. We are willing to lay down our lives for the citizens we serve but we are seldom recognized for the very dangerous work we do. You will be forever remembered. You have ended your watch honorably.

Trooper Patrick Ambroise

I am deeply saddened by the LOD death of Trooper Patrick Ambroise . The heartfelt appreciation of a truly grateful American citizen goes out to his familiy and friends. He served honorably and faithfully, answering the call of duty when he was needed.

Please express my sympathy and deepest condolences to his family , and that they are in my prayers during this time of grief. He is a true hero, and I hope the fact that he is honored by so many brings them some comfort in this time of loss. May they feel the comfort and love from across this nation embrace them and hold them up during this difficult time. We will not forget him and will forever be in his debt for what he has done for us.

Please let the members of the Florida Highway Patrol know they are in my prayers during this dark time as they continue the mission of making our world a safer place. To each of you I say a big “Thank You” for doing what you do everyday. Thank you for going into “the office” when you don’t feel like it. Thank you for working the night shift when we are safe in bed. Thank you for putting on that uniform everyday. Thank you for working holidays. Thank you for going through doors when you know what can be behind them. Just know that there are thousands and thousands of people this very moment praying for your department. Know that for every person who would wish harm on you that there are thousands of us who cheer you everyday. Being an officer can be a thankless job. But take comfort in the fact that you are supported by lots of folks in and outside your community. You guys are making a difference. You are in my prayers.

: In Memory of Trooper Patrick Ambroise

I had the opportunity of sharing my FHP Academy experience with Patrick. He walked through the academy doors with me on that hot summer day on June 20, 2005, as we embarked on our new chosen careers as State Troopers. I remember that if Patrick looked at you or engaged in conversation with you, he always had a smile on his face.

The best memory I hold of him was the day we had our official pictures taken as Troopers. As always, Patrick was smiling. I told him when he was going to pose for the picture, to try and wipe the smile off of his face because he had trouble looking like a “tough guy” with his contagious smile. Patrick then got nose to nose with me with the most serious look on his face and said, “What did you mean by that, Hook?” His stern demeanor lasted only a few seconds. He then lost his composure and started laughing with me.

Patrick, you’ll always be remembered and loved and you will never be forgotten. I pray for you and I pray for your wife and children. All that I ask is that you rest peacefully and watch over all of us as we continue to do the job that you loved. I’ll always remember you Patrick, especially your smile.

“Rest peacefully, Brother. We’ll take it from here.”

I’m very sorry for your loss; it’s never easy when someone we know or love is suddenly taken. sorry for your lost
hopefully we do something for those crazy speeders out there and set a police stop trap. meaning have a patrol car on the side of the road and those that dont slow down or switch lane up a head a trooper waiting to give tickets if they dont slow down that means they have no fear for the officers life.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Patrick’s family. I had the pleasure of knowing Patrick as we were classmates in the 111th. What a honorable and great man! Everyone who shared the life of Patrick was truly touched and very lucky to have known him. Rest in eternal peace my friend. You are missed and will never be forgotten. In memory of Trooper Patrick Ambroisie

Patrick:
May you rest in peace now and forever. Your EOW came much too soon as they all do. We have your watch Brother!!

Although an International boundary had seperated us, and we never had a chance to meet, you were special to me. As soon as you put on your uniform , accepted your badge, and were sworn in you became part of my family. One of the largest, loving, and tight knit families in the world. You were part of the family of the Thin Blue Line and you always will be, even though your EOW came much too soon.

Tears are not enough at a time like this, but rest in peace knowing that we, your family of LEO’s worldwide, will take up the fight where you left off. WE will be there to look out for your family and friends, your fellow officers, the citizen’s that you loved to protect and serve so faithfully. We are YOUR family and like all families, we will always be there for you, we will always love and miss you terribly, and we will never forget your smile, wit, charm, jokes, everything that made you special. Yes, I will miss you terribly my Brother, but as long as I’m alive you will never be forgotten.

Rest in Peace, we have your watch!!!!

To the Family ,Friends and Co-Workers of Trooper Ambroise,

I would like to send out my condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of Trooper Ambroise. It is sad on a previous day of recognition for all Law Enforcement that we are to lose another one of our brothers and say goodbye.

Four years ago I had the experience of a loved one who was hit by a vehicle while on duty. While we are fortunate to still have him and has since fulfilled his dream to become a Trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol. He graduated the class after Trooper Ambroise, as he was suppose to travel to Miami the next day for his Psychological Exam. He was scheduled to attend the class with Trooper Ambroise but his injuries caused him to delay that and re enter the process with the next class. As an Officer of the Florida Department of Agriculture, we place ourselves in harms way each day, but I am sure as well as myself, my better half and Trooper Ambroise we all made that commitment with no hesitation.

We must realize that we have to take care of ourselves and each other. Please everyone be safe. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time of sadness and upcoming healing.

Again, we appreciate so much the dedication and the service that Trooper Ambroise gave to Law Enforcement and the Florida Highway Patrol.

Thanks again for sharing him with us and allowing him to keep us safe.

Officer Tammy U. Mobley Crime Stoppers of Suwannee County Inc. Live Oak, Florida

I’m so sad about what happened to State Trooper Patrick Ambroise. He lived in the building next to mines. I felt safe seeing his car parked there every night. It is so weird and sad for me. I pray for his family and friends. Lynette M
