The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is pleased to announce the commencement of the 113th Basic Recruit Class. The class, consisting of sixty-two recruits, begins Friday, September 29, 2006, at 8 AM. The training will last 6 months at the Florida Highway Patrol’s training facility, located at the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Training Center in Havana, FL.

Recruits will receive extensive training at the FHP Academy, which is designed to instill the Patrol’s core values of Service, Courtesy, and Protection.
