Estrada helps promote car seat safety
Tampa, Florida -- A TV star helped the Florida Highway Patrol promote child safety seat awarness.
Erik Estrada gave his star power to help the FHP and a local insurance company check child car seats at teh University Mall in Tampa. Safety seat technicians inspected seats and taught parents how to install their car seats.
The technicians also checked to see if the child's car seat met safety regulations. If a seat was found to be out of date, or not functional the parent got a car seat for free.
