FHP Cautions Drivers to be Extra Careful
As the nearby county wild fires from last night's blaze continue on as one, the situation is only expected to get worse. And with smoke is blanketing the area, the Florida Highway Patrol is cautioning drivers to be extra careful. F-H-P Troop B Spokesman Lieutenant Mike Burroughs says you should keep your headlights on at all times. Burroughs says it's also important to reduce your speed because you may encounter stopped traffic or lanes that are reduced. Burroughs adds drivers should make sure their windshield wipers are working to clean off any ash or dew from the wild fires.
