Troopers to check licenses, tags

The Florida Highway Patrol will be conducting driver license and vehicle inspection checkpoints during the month of June in the two-county area.

Troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated with defects such as bad breaks, worn tires and defective lighting, the Florida Highway Patrol announced today in a news release.

Troopers also will be focusing on driver?s adhering of Florida license laws, the report said.

The troopers will set up checkpoints at various intersections throughout the counties.
