Saving lives

I really want to extend my gratitude to the Florida Highway Patrol and the Nassau County Sheriff's Office for your widespread presence on A1A. I travel the stretch between Yulee and Fernandina daily and I know that this has prevented countless numbers of accidents. Thank you.

Hopefully your presence will stop the mom that drives the four-door sedan from driving while breastfeeding her baby. Maybe the grandma who rides with that beautiful grandbaby in the front seat in her lap will think twice about taking that child out of the car seat. All of us that get in such a hurry have been reminded to slow down.

I am sure that it can be very mundane sitting and watching traffic go by. Please consider that you saved a life today. I am very grateful.
