Tallahassee - The Florida Highway Patrol is releasing enforcement totals for Operation Safe Ride, a 48-hour statewide traffic enforcement detail targeting the drivers of commercial motor vehicles that was conducted October 24-25, 2007.

Activity Breakdown

This operation is part of a long-term enforcement effort that focuses on top priority traffic safety issues to help reduce deaths and injuries on Florida’s roadways. During the two-day enforcement detail, troopers focused their enforcement efforts on every Interstate, Florida's Turnpike, and other major state roads in Florida where hazardous traffic violations by drivers of commercial motor vehicles and other motorists are prevalent.
